Is it true? Downtown Orlando where I used to come late at night without being afraid of anything. Back then, 30, 31, 32 years ago, I went to the library Central Blvd and stopped by Lake Eola very often. At the time, the library was open until 9 p.m. Sometimes, I came to check out books or return books. I don’t need to look up and down, back and forth, left and right, side by side, 360*… People at the front desk of the library can see me far away, on the other side of Rosaline Ave… For the last couple months, I have thought about going downtown, walking around… and, of course, making some video; but now, oh oh, no thanks.
30 years ago, I don’t think I saw hot, hot… in the downtown of Orlando. I think it was around when people made the decision to build those high buildings (condominiums) and then tried making young people move to live there; majority of them were from the outstate, my guess. At one point, they signed a very high price contrast with Paris Hilton; she just needed to show up there a couple times a year or so. In order to have those buildings built, of course, some old/historical buildings must go, then some were gone by fire.
Of course, 30 years ago, I don’t think there was any sports stadium around Downtown Orlando; maybe I’m wrong about that. Now, there is more and more sports stuff coming…
