Hey, buddy, you are so cute, especially your lovely ears, but I’m unable to take care of myself, so I could not take care of you. I have to move on not adopting you or others now on and for the rest of my life.
Yeah, there are plenty of dogs that were abandoned or given up daily for anyone interested, but I have to remind everybody who wants to have an animal, dog, cat… that you need to pass all the questions/doubts yourself first before going to get one home. It doesn’t matter if you’re going to get a brand-new puppy, a mature dog and/or a senior dog, whether it is from a shelter or at the puppy store, you need to answer yourself that can you make a commitment taking care of them for the rest of their life. At first, you need to check yourself, can you take care of yourself including physical, financial and mental. Then, what if you’re getting sick… That is not only helping you clarify and be confident to have one but also helping you to avoid legal issues later. Also, that’s preventing them from ending up in the shelter and then causing problems for others such as the county, the government… and other people’s dollars.
