#15. Playing the lottery, supporting education. Many people question this fund about supporting schools… There were many unclaimed lottery tickets with a big prize in the past… Some of the instructors (finance, management, math, database, statistic, real estate, appraisal) do not believe much in the lottery for school funds, especially, they pointed out the courthouse building is higher and higher… They are all white* (USA) male** and 55 plus*** at the time. However, my dad did; I believe so because he kept buying a couple dollars every week even though he is a person strictly against gambling (himself). Later on, after they added more and more numbers, he felt it was a kind of gambling, especially, the first prize was too large while the rest of prizes were so small. He only bought when there was a big prize. Buying to join fun with others, that was how he persuaded me to buy when there was a big prize ticket.

#16. Sales Tax… just leave it alone. For sales tax, that’s fine, no problem right now, because Floridians don’t spend a lot because of the property taxes. “Property tax” hangs in their mind all year long and year after year; it’s hard for them to make the decision to buy something because, in their mind, they are always thinking that they will have to pay the property taxes soon for the year and years. I’m so confused. In Orange County, the sales tax is 6.5%; in Seminole County, the sales tax is 7%; but they keep saying about 6% sales tax. It doesn’t matter anymore. Even though the state lowers the sales tax, later on, the local governments decide to raise the sales tax, and it is not different anyway. Don’t Cut Sales Tax. We don’t need it now; we need no more property taxes permanently, period. I’m sure, if we get rid of the property taxes, people are willing to spend more, free of mind of property tax obligation; then, the State of Florida can use that sales tax to pay all debts and become a debt free state. Then, as Floridians, people can say, “Welcome to the Debt Free State of Florida!” 🤣😂❤️💕😍 🥰😘

#17. Visitor Tax. It might be implementing a visitor tax for non-Florida residents, non-US residents (a little bit higher) through the hospitality system (hotels, resorts), and theme parks.

#18. Medicaid. Monitor the healthcare system charging, maybe save some. I don’t know about Medicaid, but I know about Medicare (my dad). To me, it was overcharged when my dad was in ICU for 3 days on 8/2019; 1/3 – 1/2 charging was more reasonable at that time. Even though the hospital assigned me to bring my dad to see some healthcare professionals as I had thought, they charged a kind of nonsense amount to me, not worth; definitely, not worth at all. I found the follow-up information in a discharge handout. That place was closed by the hospital. That was after going home for 3 days (Friday evening, Saturday, Sunday) straight from the ICU room after my dad chose not to start the treatment. Even charged with that amount, they did not give any medicine for my dad when discharged; I had no clue about that at that time because I received a bombshell dropped in my head, “death sentence”. There were a couple of pain prescriptions issued at the time of discharge, but we were not aware of them until visiting the place; then they had to run around to find those doctors to get other prescriptions but one was unsuccessful.

#19. Donation Bucket. When the property taxes are eliminated, how about creating a bucket for anyone who is willing to give in a hand to cover the local governments’ spending which is lacking a chunk of the earnings from the homeowners’ property taxes especially from the poor homeowners. For those worrying about there being no money for local governments and schools, then this is for them, they can add as much as they want into this bucket. I’m sure those people, who are worrying about this and that when we’re trying to give a hand figuring out how to get rid of the property taxes for all of us, they have plenty of money. They have a lot of money, then add to this bucket; when they die, they cannot bring money with them anyway. About us, we just try to survive and keep the roof over our head for us, for our families, for our children, for our grandchildren, for our senior parents… so we don’t have to become new local governments’ homeless club members. We give less stress to the local governments while they’re scratching their heads to figure out how to deal and solve the problem of the homeless crisis. It doesn’t matter how many affordable housing units are built; the homeless crisis is getting worse and worse if the property taxes are not eliminated.

>>> Because the previous post is too long, I have to split the post in order to save that post. That’s why I ended up having this post here.
>>> Visitor Tax ideas are crossed with other people’s ideas.
>>> *, **, ***Don’t misunderstand that it is a racist or discrimination. I just wanted to emphasize the thing I pointed out…
>>> You’re feel free to take whatever you think it’s a great idea from those listing above (#1 to #19) for implementing a better system, better life or whatever. I don’t mind. Last time, I blah blah blah because I saw VCP started doing something kind of similar to my ideas. I just don’t like the communist use them first; that’s all.
>>> If someone has the similar ideas/thoughts to mine, I think we were built by the same school system (USA), same majors, same fields or whatsoever.

VN is an initial of my first name, not the initial name of a country in Asia, Vietnam. Ladies, I'm single but I have my own rules which no one can change them, even my dad; my mom? YES... and don't worry, I'm not Jolene, period. (Saturday, July 19, 2025 5 PM)
