Hurricane Ian Made Landfall in Florida as a Category 4 Storm
Eating sugar apple fruit while heavy rain and strong wind outside where I live due to Hurricane Ian.
It seems like there is some tornado too because I heard some sounds knock on the roof.
Not done yet now at 12:21 a.m. September 29, 2022 Thursday, the party will start the next couple hours or early next morning; that’s what a meteorologist said on the news channel 30 minutes ago.
I am here by myself with a hurricane for the first time in my life. How about you?
Here are a number of my stay-at-home family members downgrading each time the hurricanes reach our place.
- 8/24/1992 Hurricane Andrew – 4 family members, first ever hearing about the word hurricane in my life, newcomers as a refugee family, did not experienced it because Andrew stopped by south Florida; mom, dad, young brother and me; 6 months later, mom was gone forever (3/3/1993, they said due to cancer).
- 08/13/2004 (Friday) Hurricane Charley – 3 family members plus brother’s girlfriend
- 09/05/2004 Hurricane Frances – 3 family members plus brother’s girlfriend, then later brother started his new net.
- 09/10/2017 Hurricane Irma – 2 family members; my dad and me; 3 years later, dad was gone forever (9/5/2020, they said due to cancer)
- 09/28/2022 Hurricane Ian – 1 left, me
*they – doctors; do I accept it???
Hurricane Ian
- made landfall in Florida on Wednesday afternoon as a powerful Category 4 storm
- were around 150 mph (maximum sustained winds) as it hit the southwest coast at the island of Cayo Costa near Fort Myers and Cape Coral.
