How to fix wireless mouse and keyboard not working

When mouse and keyboard are not working, some of us will frustrate because it looks like there is something missing in our daily life even though there are many alternative ways, for example, touch on the screen (touchscreen computer). If you’re an old fashion computer user, definitely, you need your mouse and keyboard work so your web surfing runs smoothly.

So, what do we need to do in order to solve the problem likes “mouse and keyboard are not working”?

Here are what we need to do to get the mouse and keyboard work back.

Solution #1:

Step #1:

• Go to Start, then Search.
• Type “Device Manager” into the search box.
• Select Device Manager
• Locate an error device; for example, the error message on the device “A request for the USB device descriptor failed.“
• Right click on that device.
• Uninstall it.
• Then a warming message appears saying that you’re uninstalling the device from your computer system, click OK.
• Now that error device is uninstalled.

Step #2:

• Right click on the computer name in Device Manager screen.
• Click Search for hardware change
• Now the device manager search for the external device and install it again.

Step #3:

• Right click on that device.
• Click Properties.
• At the General tab, we can see the message states “This device is working properly”; that means, the mouse and keyboard work back normal.

Solution #2:

Just do step #1 above, then restart the computer. When the computer is back on, everything works fine again. We don’t need to do step #2 & #3.
