Okay, after taking a picture or video with your GoPro HERO8, you want to transfer your work to your computer without using any app. You tried, tried and tried by connection through USB which come with your GoPro. Not luck at all, you start getting frustrated, but you don’t know what to do. Okay, no problem, I will show you how to fix it and it works smoothly.
Here are what you need to do.
First, power up your GoPro and a screen pops up.

Next, swipe down the screen and then another screen shows up. You see the word Preferences is wrapped around an oval shape. Tap Preferences.

You will see the PREFERENCES screen display. Here, you need to tap the word Connections.

A CONNECTIONS screen pops up, tap USB Connection.

The USB CONNECTION appears, select MTP.

That’s it. Done.
